The spirit

Darty believes that apprenticeships are a winning route, with paid training leading to a qualification, a skill and real job prospects.

Advantages

Serving an apprenticeship within the Darty group provides an opportunity to find out about the corporate environment whilst at the same time learning a genuine skill. It is a way of getting into the world of business and securing a qualification.
Today, Darty employs over 250 young apprentices on sandwich courses, from Technical School Certificate to Master II level. Here, an apprenticeship leads to a qualification and a job in sales or a technical discipline (Baccalaureat and above).

Key issues

Because experience is the key to the world of business, Darty has signed the Apprenticeship Charter. The idea is to attract more young people to this type of training so that they can acquire skills within the company. Target skills: salespeople, technicians for electrical appliances and multimedia.
