Recruitment - Schools

Une passerelle pour l'avenir

Nowadays, links between businesses and schools enable young people to find out about corporate environments, jobs and business culture during their training or as part of their school curriculum.

Objectives:

To welcome new talent and enable young people to familiarise themselves with the company's processes and learn a new skill

To diversify recruitment by giving future staff the chance to learn different jobs.

Ongoing initiatives

Along with young people and those involved in education and continuing education, Darty has for a number of years been involved in the following initiatives:
- CERPET : every year, Darty organises days for teachers from the French state education system to work alongside staff members in a business setting.
- Training courses: hosting over 2,000 young people as part of their training.
- Apprenticeships: Darty recruits staff from a number of apprentice training centres throughout France, including that of the Ducretet network (the Business branch, which focuses on sales and technical skills). These centres provide training leading to a qualification, and the Darty group offers real employment prospects.
- Supporting young:promising students from disadvantaged areas in their schooling via a tutorial system run in association with the Telemaque Foundation since 2005. Darty contributes to a scholarship fund with the aim of opening up the social, business and cultural environments of these young people.
